16066_483044415081756_545436942_nMy name is Taryn Perry and I am a Stay-At-Home-Mom turned 6-figure network marketing business owner.  I am the mother of a soon to be 2nd grade daughter, a pre-school aged son and our 3rd cherub arriving in January 2014.  They are my absolute blessings along with my wonderfully supportive husband who has been by side every step of the way.

I fell in love with the network marketing industry about 5 years ago, when it was introduced to me by an old friend, as an opportunity to make some “fun money”.  Once I did my OWN research and looked beyond all those that said it was a terrible industry with a bad reputation, I realized that it could quite possibly be the vehicle to allow me to create an independent income, while I stayed home to care for my kids. Not to mention, an even greater opportunity to change the experience others have with this industry, to showcase its amazing benefits of flexibility and wealth, it had to offer.

To give you some background, when my daughter was born I was still working in corporate America in commercial real estate.  It was a successful career and I stuck with it for over 8 years.  However, when my second child was born, I knew I wanted something more and I was determined to not miss out on those precious moments you can never get back.  Like many moms, I struggled because I also really wanted to contribute to the family finances, yet had a hard time justifying working just to pay our childcare costs.  Thankfully things continued to fall into place for me as I followed my instincts.

In 2008, I first began my business journey as a fitness and nutrition coach.  I realized that I was that fat and frumpy mom many turn into when they put the needs of their children first.  I wanted to be the ‘fit’ mom, so a friend turned me on to P90X.  It completely changed my body and my role as a wife and mother.  I craved the feeling of helping others find success in their weight loss and lifestyle.

As my fitness and nutritional consulting business evolved, I wanted to grow as a business woman and add another element of business to a) continue to meet my financial goals of being a 6-figure income earner and b) continue to align with my passions of helping others.

After much research into what that next perfect business was to be, I found SEACRET.  SEACRET has been a highly successful and established business in Skin Care for over 8 years.  As I dug a little more into what their goals and business model involved, I learned they were launching solely into the Direct Sales market and getting away from the retail sector.  This piqued my interest immediately, therefore my husband and I teamed up with a 25+ year veteran in Direct Sales to get our business started.  He was building his Direct Sales team with SEACRET and consulting with them to refine their Direct Sales platform for their field agents and allow them to successfully take it internationally!

What I didn’t realize, was that Skin Care is of the Top 3 retailing industries in our country.  That equates to it being over a $330 BILLION Dollar industry. Could I just have a small sliver of that, please??
