Why Did You Start Your Business?
I started the business as a way to give myself a flexible schedule and to make a meaningful difference for micro businesses.
What Do People Love About Your Business?
Our clients love that they can drop off their receipts in a ziplock bag and that we focus on really small businesses. We don’t use small clients as filler, they are our bread and butter.
What are people saying about Primarily Bookkeeping, Inc., DBA Your Bookkeeping Fairy Godmother?
“Here is why I like Rachel: – Highly available. She Responds quickly to email, and I am not afraid I will wait long for help. – Excellent knowledge of her field. – Values quality and service. You just know it sometimes when you find a proprietor who values their business, and their relationship with their clients, Rachel is one of these people. – Great value. I shopped around, I’ve had other bookkeepers, and I know a good deal when I find one. Overall, I can highly recommend Rachel.”
Rachel is the real deal – friendly, communicative, knowledgeable, and super easy to work with. I came to her with no idea of what I should be doing for my books (I started a consulting business) and she quickly assessed my needs. Her pricing was very reasonable, and she was even nice enough to check in with me as taxes became due to make sure I filed the paperwork on time. I HIGHLY recommend her for bookkeeping services! Top tier quality!
Being a new business owner has many hurdles and finding direction and having someone as skilled and patient as Rachel is pricless.. Rachel is increadibly patient and goes far out of her way to be that person you need in your corner to go the extra mile to help you take control of your business needs and requirements..I generally don’t write reviews but how could I not at least in some small way say Thank You! I got lucky with Rachel
If you were to start your business all over, what advice do you wish you had received?
“I wish someone had told me that others in my industry are (generally) happy to help new folks find their footing. I joined a meet-up group for other accounting professionals about a year into having my business and it’s made a huge difference. I would have liked to have joined it sooner. I’m just now starting to become active in business/support/collaboration groups such as this and if I could give myself a second piece of advice, I’d say to join sooner. Networking is good but being around successful women and sharing ideas is really amazing and will help you see that this (whatever this is) can be overcome.”
Are there any discounts or special offers you would like to offer readers?
We would be happy to review your QuickBooks as a courtesy and offer you feedback. DIY folks may want to know they’re on the right track. Folks who outsource may want reassurance that things are being done as they hope.
